The Geology Department at Whitman College is seeking candidates for a one-year position in Geology, with expertise in sedimentology, at the rank of visiting assistant professor, beginning August 2020. A Ph.D. is required.
The successful candidate will offer Sedimentology/Stratigraphy (plus lab) and either Hydrology (plus lab) or Environmental Geology (plus lab), as well as introductory Physical Geology (plus lab), and a seminar in the candidate’s field of expertise.
