TENURE TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR-CLIMATE CHANGE, UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA

The Department of Geological Sciences (geology.ufl.edu) at the University of Florida (UF) invites applications for a tenure accruing position in the area of Climate Change at the Assistant Professor level with an anticipated start date of August 16, 2020.  We are interested in candidates whose research focuses on interactions between and within the components of the climate system (the geosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere) as well as implications for those processes on past, present and/or future climate.  We are particularly interested in applicants who will enhance existing geochemical facilities and build collaborations within the department and across UF.  The Search Committee will begin reviewing applications October 11, 2019 and the search will remain open until filled.
