The Department of Geosciences at Trinity University invites applications for a renewable (contingent on continued funding), nine-month term position. The appointment will be made at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor and will begin in August 2017.
A Ph.D. in geosciences is required. The successful candidate must have a commitment to undergraduate teaching. Previous experience teaching at the college level is desirable. The teaching load will be nine to ten contact hours per semester. Responsibilities include teaching introductory courses in geosciences (lecture and lab) and other selected courses. The area of expertise is open, but should complement the strengths of the existing faculty in the department.
